I have an 89 Bronco with a 351 and a c-6 the truck always ran well and shifted well but recently I noticed when I start to move from a dead stop it feels like a standard would if you start out in a higher gear.It shifts through the gears fine.It doesn't feel like it's slipping. The truck has 138,000 miles on the original drivetrain and use to tow a race car all the time.I use to be a mechanic but sometimes tranny problems can be hard to diagnose and was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what was the problem with theirs' or what they think it could be.I was thinking maybe the torque converter because the mileage and load it use to pull but not sure.
