Ok, I have a 1987 full size Bronco that has way to much play in the shifter (man. trans.)

What do I need to replace it and how much is it going to run me?

It may be something as simple as plastic bushings in the mechanism.

They get brittle and break after a while and make the shifter get very sloppy.

That is the first thing I would check, since the bushings are rather cheap compared to a new shifter :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
