Alright its time to buy new tires. I want muds for cheap. I'm just looking for recomendations and personal experiences. I dont want an all terrain because thats what i have now and they just dont look good enough. I am looking at the Super Swamper Trxus muds, the Koho muds and the pro comp muds. Any suggestions? What is the largest size tire I can fit without a lift? What about with a 3 inch lift? Thanks.

good mud tire for a low price? dunlop mud rovers. should last a fair amount of time depending on how you drive. pro crap muds are alright, from what i've heard, but prices ****. biggest tire you can fit at stock height? 33's on certain rims. 3" lift, 35's again on certain rims. its all relative to the amount of trimming your comfortable with and how much rubbing will bother you

The trxus muds are a really good value in my opinion, 33's are around 130 per, thats pretty good considering they are a load range E. They look really nice up close and I was considering buying them but i ended up going with the BFGoodrich Muds, theyre slightly more, but excellent traction and look, as far as tire sizes go, it depends on what year model you have. If its a 92-96 like I have, the biggest without a lift is a 32x11.5x15, especially in a mud tire. With a 3" lift, the biggest is probably 34's which the trxus has a 34x12.5x15, and theyre almost the only ones. I got a 3" body on my 92 and put 33x12.5x15's and still had to trim the air dam, but other than that, a perfect fit.

Trxus aren't that great off road. Same as Thronbirds don't use.

Pro-Comp mudder might be the way to go since they have buy 3 get one free but I heard they wear quickly. The X-terrains don't do well off road. BFG M/T's are a great choice. Don't make the mistake and get Wildcountry M/T cause of price. They have hard rubber with no traction and are loud on road.

Swamper TSL Radials or Irok Radials will do well in all conditions and look good.

procomp tires wear fast because they are a soft compound. i like my general grabber mt. i payed $400 for my set- used. but they are discontinued, and my guess is they have been for a while. but mine work great on road and off, and mud traction is great they empty very well. generals are a hard compound so my guess is that they **** in winter.
