Hey guys i was wondering if anyone knew if i could fit 35"M/T's on a set of 15" pacer rims? I was wondering if i will have to move up to a 16" or 17" inch rim to swing 35" but i just wanted to know if anyone makes a 35" mud tire that can ride a 15" rim. And also how mush would i have to lift my 96' XL to fit 35" under without rubbing in any manuver and would i need swing arms if i got my bronco lifted to fit 35"s?

15s will work and youll need at least 6" of lift. There will probably be rubbing at full lock when you turn the wheel no matter what but extended radius arms will help.

yes, almost all manufacturers make 35's to work with 15" rims. you can get away with running 35's with a 3" BL, but they will rub at mid to full stuff. to effectively clear them, 4-6" is needed. you are going to have to trim here and there, regardless. anf if they are wider than stock, they will most likely end up rubbing on your radius arms at full steering lock

i run 36" TSL/SXs on my 88. I have a 4" lift...no rubbing, even in full lock. get the right backspacing and that will cure that problem of full lock rubbing on the radius arms and stuff.

now mine being a dedicated trail rig i did trim the fenders for the 36s to give them more room, but i could have gotten by just fine on a 35 with out trimming

Do you guys know what the largest tire size that will safely fit on stock rims and without a lift on my Bronco? The tires I have right now are 30x9.50.

you can fit a wide range of tires on a 15x8 rim. research and the tire will say what size rim is "safe" for that tire. Most people prefer a 15x8 for most 12.50 wide tires. I run 15x10s with 36x12.50 tires and have no problem.

depending on your backspacing of the wheel will determine the rubbing. But a 33 will fit on a stock height. Wont allow for much flex though

All manufacturers specify 8.5 rim width as minimum for 12.5 tires with a range of 8.5 - 11 inches. That goes for 33's or 35's.
