I own a 1981 ford bronco, and it is all factory. I was wanting to know what are the biggest MT tires that i can put on it without having it raised. I am also working on the interior and wanted to know how i could use the already inuse interior and just change the color. Can it be painted in any way?

31s are not supposed to rub. Anything larger should. As far as your interrior goes, I have used the dye in the past. It sucks. It peeled off of the parts that were painted. I am going to try to paint some stuff later with regular paint to see what will happen.

Duplicolor is supposed to make paint especially for plastic parts but I have never used it.

I redid my interior by collecting good trim parts from my local friendly auto recycler untill I had what I needed.

Good luck,

:)>-

about the tires, I fit 33 inch dakota RVT's under my 85 bronco without any lift. But then i got 33 inch superswamper TSL's so i had to lift it or else they would have rubbed like crazy. And for the interior there is a paint called bulldog i believe, its a plastic and vinyl spray you can get it in many colors.

There is also a vinyl/plastic trim paint called "Fusion". 33" tires are the maximum you can run without a lift like others have stated, but 31" tires would all but eliminate any chance of rubbing or fender contact. Different brands are not the same hieght, and the wheel size and backspacing will affect tire clearance. I have some 33's that I plan to mount on the 86 Bronco with no lift.
