I am sure this has been asked before but did not find anything recent . A buddy has a new set of 33x12.50x15 tires that he has mounted on 15x10 wheels on a project truck that he is selling and I can pick these up for $150 $-) for all four but the wheels on my bronco are only 15x8.5 with 32x11.50x15s tires will the 33s mount up on the 8.5s . And also the other thing is that he needs my old tires to roll his project and one of my tires is a 31x10.5 do yall think that one will mount up on a 10 inch wide wheel .Another question is how can you tell if a bronco has a lift kit ? What is stock height of a 74 bronco that now has a 351 in it . The fenders have been cut and the 32x11.50 seem to have plenty of room . Is there a base height you can measure like the rocker panel or maybe the stock bumper ? Have alot of things to learn abought these EB s I am used to my old mustangs :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> Thanks for the help guys . Robert

Try this measure from the top of the axle to the bottom of the frame, the stock measurement is about 7" if you have more than that, figure the differance and thats the amount of lift you have.

Coupe66,one thing you'll find is that just about every Bronco is a little different.Ive seen guys put on a 3.5 lift and have dreaded Bronco lean,I've seen guys put in an extreme 5.5 lift and drive arrow straight. Also another thing to consider about lift hieght,if you have a hard top,v-8,after market bumpers ,large spare..etc ..etc..,all of these things affect youre ride hieght. For example I got rid of my hard top,and it looked like I went up an inch on my suspension.Tax time Im getting rid of my doors, for inserts and soft doors. All that wieght affects you in some way.

Hey Bandit You hit it on the head my bronco doesnt have a hard top or doors . I am looking to find some metal doors and take out the door inserts and do away with the soft doors . Maybe that is why it looks high . I have a Best Top soft top coming so I shoudnt add to much weight . I will post some pics tomorrow . Thanks

A good thing to remember is you can put a 4" wider tire on a rim so those tires on your rims should work fine

Coupe, sorry I missed your question.I cant stand 10 inch wheels on 12.5 inch tires,I have 35x12.5's on 8.5 inch wheels,I picked 8.5's because I feel they are a better fit,and it dosen't extend your wheels out so far.It is really a preference,Alot of guys put 10" wheels or bigger on everything,I dont like the way wide rims sit. There is a rule of thumb,I forget...so many inches over your tire width, yada ,yada ,yada...I'll tell you for sure,8.5 inch rims, work great on 33x12.50's.I'm not sure what you were writing about soft doors, and soft top,I really like the freedom of soft doors/soft top,but around here you freeze your ass off.Damn its cold out!
