i bought a set (4) good year wrangler with silent armour tires, and well 10 months ago when i bought the tires, since then i have just replaced a bunch of bushings all new shocks and an alignment. now iam having a thumping noise, since i have fixed all the suspension, the ford dealership says it will go away in the next 2 months, well my 1 yr waranty is up from ford in 3 weeks so i dont want to wait till then, what do you guys think? its a rotational thump, not terrible but you can feel it allrite.

Go into more detail about this "thumping".. how often does it happen. What speeds. Get worse with increase in speed?

Almost sounds like a weight fell off one of the tires and so result is not balanced anymore which = "thump"?

the thumping is most noticable at speeds around 5-15mph as you get higher it turns into more of a vibration. i had new driveshaft and u-joints installed recently so i know that is not it. and the thumping is allways there, i had the tires rotated and the thumping is not nearly as bad as what it used to be, but still very noticable. thanks ahead of time!

Tire Speed Related Vibrations

You'll have to have patience and time to go thru all the drill-downs; if you have a lot of paper and a supply of printer ink, change settings to b&w only and print it all out.

or copy & paste peert sections to WORD or in WP.
