I have a 1990 302 with some worn 31x10.50r15 tires and I use the bronco as a plow truck during the winter. I have no traction as is right now and was wondering if tire chains would be better than flooring it and hoping not to hit anything.

They are illegal in many places and tear up everything (like customers driveways you may be plowing). Just buy some cheap snow tires if its only driven in the winter.

just get a set of snow tires or a set of bfg all terrains. they will do more than a set of chains.
