I need help on how to get at the Throttle Position Sensor on my 1989 Bronco 5.0 My old one (TPS) is working but is acting up a little so I picked up a new one at Advanced Auto and it looked like an easy job looking at the part. But when I actually looked under the hood and saw where the (TPS) was located I can't get to the two little screws to take the old one off or do you have to take the whole Throttle Body apart to turn it over to replace it? I was hoping to replace it today but I am out of time. If there is a way to change it without remove the throttle body could someone please let me know and any special tool that I may need to get at it.

Okay, I did have to remove the throttle body to replace it and it took me about 30 minutes total to do the job. Now the RPM's are alittle higher when parked or stopped, just under 1000 when before it was about 600 RPMs? Did I miss a ajustment somewhere or is this normal?

B) Okay forget my last post its running fine now! I drove down hwy 92 to the Speedway and back (Daytona Speedway) and it ran really good. I disconnected the battery because I heard something about doing that in one of the posts. I let it sit for a few minutes and hooked it back up and checked all my Vac. Hoses to the throttle body and cranked it back up. It idles around 600 rpm's which is where it was before I changed the (TPS). I guess thats all I need to do unless someone has some input or that the same problem. I just want to know if I did it right and yes it is running alright or if there is any other parts I should look into replacing associated with the throttle body just to be same for just an old bronco.
