Ok I have always had problem set teh timing and adjusting the carb to where it don't spit back through the carb when its cold. Or 10 miles downthe road twhen you try to pass a slow car it want spit back and the n take off and go.I can play with it and get it runnign good and but when I turn it off and try to recrank it,it drags and is hard to start.SO back teh timing down in small incraments till it starts without dragging. Then have to go through hole adjusting thing all over again. The truck is a 85 Bronce with a 427 small block .Nothing major.Just a small cam. in it and roller rockers.I can get to run and crank good but then it likes to spit back when its cold or u jump down in it.But once it spits back it will hall @#$.I am only runnign a 750 Edel.carb on it.May try my 670 holley. Its like when I get it to stop spitting back weh its cold once it warms up it draggs when it cranks like its over heated and backing the timing down a littled it is easy to crank but it spits out the carb.I has all new plus, wires, cap, button, pick up coil in trhe dizzy and starter.Any ideas.
