Hello! I'm Rio and The Beast is my '96 fullsize Bronco. Let me tell you, she has a lot of...uh...character! It is how she got her name. LOL For a few years now every time I fire her up it is a valid question if I'm gonna make my destination or not. As much as I love the random adventures she sends me on when she breaks down, I'd like to change her from a breakdown beast to a Bada$$ Beast.
She has a laundry list of things that need to get handled from that annoying engine leak, to the passenger mirror that just spins like a top while on the highway. Currently, the top of the list is fixing the front brakes. I have a very small amount of mechanical skill, but enjoy working on the little things she needs myself. It's the big things, such as getting her mechanically sound, that I know are above my skill. If there is anyone in the Bay Area willing to help me out with the hands on I'd appreciate it. As a Massage Therapist, I'm willing to trade bodywork for bronco work.
Here is my Beast marking her territory on the corner outside my place.
