temperature switch

I have a 96 bronco with the 5.8 . my temp gauge quit working. could somebody tell me where the temp switch is located? thats what they said i needed at the parts store. All i can find is the one right above the themostat housing but it has 2 wires instead of one.

It is on the driver side of the engine in the top of the intake manafold wit one wire attached to it. When replacing it, do NOT use teflon tape on the threads. They need to make contact with the metal surface of the manafolt in order to make a good contact. The threads are designed to be self sealing.
