Just got done putting the new motor in the bronco. It seems to run pretty good but the temp gauge doesn't move. I guess it's the sending unit. I know i've seen it during the motor swap and i think i even had to swap it from the old motor to the new motor, but i just can't remember where it was. So where is it?? It's a 93, 302. Thanks

Bryan

Your sender is on the driver side just infront of the oil filter. Do not use teflon tape when installing the new one, the unit requires the thread contact for grounding. Berfore changing it, make sure the wire is hooked to it.

I must be blind, all i see on that side is the oil pressure fitting. Does it look like the oil pressure one? I can't even find a single wire that would hook to the temp sending unit, so i know it's not even hooked up.

I'm sorry, I was thinking about the oil pressure sender. The temperature sender is on the intake manifold front driver side. It is not very big and has a wire connector on the top, the Teflon tape note applies to it also. The attached picture of an intake shows it right on the corner of the intake manifold. That manifold is not installed on an engine, the distributor would be in that crescent.
