I have a 1985 Ford Bronco 351. Does anybody know where I can get a mechanical temperature gauge? I ordered an equus electric temperature gauge and it doesn't fit right. Any help would be great.

Have you looked at Advance Auto, Autozone, or someplace like that? SunPro are inexpensive and accurate. By you comment on the gauge not fitting, are you trying to find one that fits in place of the Ford gauge?

Yeah, but I want one that has degrees on it. I do not want a regular gauge or what came from the car originally.

You could do a pod guage system that has guages mounted on the "A" pillar.

Ditto on that or you could do somethig like I have done, picture attached. The only thing is don't put any gauges ont the instrument bezzel that are difficult to disconnect if you have to get behind the panel. A water temp gauge is one that needs to be somplace else. I have mine in one of the unfilled holes in the bracket under the ash tray area. I don't smoke so it doesn't affect me, besides the temp capilary tube is flexable enough to allow it to open. The picture was taken right after I converted to an electric fan.

btw, make sure you get the correct length tubing for the gauge; standard length is 6 feet...any attempts at cutting it will mess up the accuracy.

Also, a good place to route the tubing if you have an auto tranny, is thru the clutch blank on firewall next to master cyl, it is oval shaped looking from front bumper, it is to the left of the MC..
