I have read stuff like that also, then in the description they say this ...

I see which one's you're talking about. Those are pretty nice. I took a look at Broncograveyard.com, and they're listing the same ones for 89-96. If it was me, I'd buy them. I really think they are the same, but of course I'm not 100% sure. Sorry, this didnt help very much.

The styling(min difference) of them is different but ***** holes and hardware stuff is all the same.

I have a set of clear tails for a 92-96 Bronco for shows and a set of the 88 stock tails that I use the rest of the time on my 84 Bronco. The size, pattern and bolt holes are the same from 80-96 for 3 of the 4 bolts/screws. The one hole that changed from 86 to 87 is from the inside, when you open the tailgate. I just put a rubber plug in that hole for the ****** and the other 3 hold the lens just fine. So, a set of 92-96 tails will fit on an 87-91, and even the 80-86 Bronco/F-150.

87-96 taillights are interchangeable and are the exact same shape. The only difference is on the 87-91 taillights, the lower clear part is as wide as the whole lens were on 92-96 ones, the clear part is smaller with red around it. I personally think 92-96 taillight lenses look alot better than 87-91 lenses. If I had an 87-91 Bronco, I'd replace the taillights with 92-96 ones.

Good point. That's why I swapped out to the 88 lights, since the white part on the 84 lenses is so tiny. The wider clear section on the botttom of the 87-91 style lights makes backing up at night a tad easier!!!
