tailgates on bronco

so i know i read on here about people having trouble and needing to know hat to do when the back window wont roll down..well my question is how do i fix it when the window is down...

my tailgate window is down and wont go back up..what do i do to release the window so i can manually put it up to get to the motor!

youll have to remove the access cover and let the tailgate down and use a wrench to loosen the nuts that hold the regulator to the glass. it takes time but is possible. then you can push the window up by hand.

When you have the access panel off, do yourself a favor and determine it you have a motor problem or a control problem. You will find the motor leads along the bottom edge ( Red and Yellow). disconnect them and jumper the wires to a battery, one to the (+) and one to the (-). If the motor doesn't do anything then reverse the leads, if it still doesn't do anything then you need a new motor. If it does then you have a connection problem, if so we will deal with that later.
