I haven't seen any posts for this problem, well I don't know that it is a problem. Its just a little weird and I was wondering if this is common or if there is a solution to this. The tach doesn't move much at all when the motor is cold, but when it is warmed up it moves fine.

WOW, that's an unusual problem!!! I know that the moment I start my truck the tach shows the rpm's. It takes a little while for the choke to kick in and the idle to drop, so that's how I know it's working. Might check for a loose wire/connection, and post up the year model, engine, etc. of your Bronco. We have some great tech guys here that can answer your question.

It's an '82 bronco Full Size XLT Lariat with a 302w. I have had this problem for as long as I can remember. All of the connections are tight.
