swapping a motor

i have a 85 bronco with str8 six which has a cam shaft knock, four speed manual, four wheel drive.

my exwife has a 88 ltd with a 302 auto matic, with about 90,000 miles on it.

my question is can i swap out motors or will there be transmission issues.

last if i cant swap anyone know where i can get a fairly price str8 six

The C6 transmission fits both.

Pull the 6 out get motor mount towers for the truck v8 get the truck oil pan and pickup-screen for the oilpump put it in
