Suspension questions with pic

So the guy we bought the 92 from pretty much bought it drove it, doing few (if any) repairs and definately no cleaning. Basically, he knew very little about the truck-he knew it had a body lift of some sort and was a 302. Someone at some point prior had some obvious plans for it. It has a dual front shock set up, but there is also some sort of airbag thing going on inside the coil springs. There is no compressor, just a fill line that is behind the grill. Anyone know who makes this/anything about this set up (we've never seen this before):

Thats an Airlift 1000 kit, mine has one to help with the plow. You use a compressor to fill the bags through the valve in the front. Mine has a hole in one so I don't use them.

has anyone used the ones for the rear and if so any good? are supposed to be real nice when pulling a trailer or with a heavey load in the bed

Mine has them, they're okay the truck dosen't sag as much. I'm pulling them when I lift my truck though.

only downfall to that is rough ride if you dont like it. but i'd imagine it would be good for towing

They work well, but they can dry rot over time and are vunerable to wheeling contacts.

I used air shocks on my 94 Bronco Worked great while pulling my Boat with a tongue weight of 100 #

I agree with all the above,

But the dual shock set up is actually the stock shock setup from the factory.
