does anyone know of a set of springs (front and rear) that will interchange with ones from a 89 bronco. looking for ones that may give a little extra lift but are stiffer. looking for rear springs that will fit into the hangers, and that has the same distance between the spring eye bushing. (putting bigger engine in, bigger engine more weight) <)

F 250 rears have more arc so will make the ass end sit higher and E250 front coils are the equivelent to 4 inch lift springs not many people know that it just poped into my head :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

All ford 4x4,s that I have seen have 3 inch wide springs 2 wheelers got the 2.5 inch springs so useing the F250 rears on your bronco you wont have to change anything . Look for a set from a 96 or so F250 powerstroke any newer and your on your own with a tape measure just measure from eye to eye . If you lookthrough my post and find my plow truck I think it was titled look what I did that truck is a 81 2 wheel drive frame 84 3 inch wide spring hangers from an F250 ( bolted right on ) and the lift is a skyjacker 6 inch for a 1999 superduty . So if I had to bet Id say that the newer F250 springs will work . The arc is alot bigger than springs used in a bronco or F150 though so youll get more lift than you think then youll have to raise the front acordingly . The one bronco I did has a superlift 6 inch and from the bottom of the frame to the top of the spring measures 7 inches that truck with the 6 inch superduty lift on it has over 14 inches so theres a definate arc difference in the springs . Worked good though . :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Im not sure the arch on the older ones I used ones that were for a 99 . Just find one and measure bottom of frame to top of spring then measure yours that will tell you how much lift you will end up with . :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

the rear arch will be the same. only thing that might be worth checking out would be the difference between a work truck and a standard XLT or lariat. im running work truck f-250 springs from a 96 or 96, they bolted right in and gave me around 3.5" of lift

Hey Countryboy, I see your from New York. I just ordered new springs for my Bronco from a guy in Walton. They are for a F150 2400 lbs instead of 1600 stock. The man gets 109.00 each.If he is close to you and lf you need the number I'll post it for you. I broke all but the main leaf on Sunday, new springs come in on Thursday, I hope I can limp through the week.Brian
