Welcome to Bronco Zone!!! Just search the forums for "lift kits" and you'll find tons of info on brands, prices, suppliers, etc. Think about what type of offroading you like or plan to do with the Bronco. Most of the brands of lifts are fine for weekend trail riding or stomping mudholes dry. But you may want some extra options if you get serious about 4wheeling some tough ground. Many of the members have lifted rigs, and are eager to offer their opinions. I chose a Skyjacker 6", Class II lift primarily for mud racing my 84 Bronco.

Hey Justshootme and Blade, do you have photos of you flexing the suspension on your 6" lifts? Just want to see the differences with Superlift & Skyjacker. How does it ride off road and when you hit bumps? I hear both are very stiff but good for muddin for the price. I have a buddy looking around for his 78 Bronco but he's more into a soft ride with tons of flex. What else is avail besides coil overs for good flex? I'd almost have him try my early bronco long travel 4.5" with winch load coils and see what happens. This should drop it down to a 3.5" lift with the weight. Then chop the fenders to fit 40's.

I know EB coils will be way to soft for a full size but damn will they flex like crazy! Maybe some limiting straps and good bump stops? heehee!

Oh yeah, its an offroad only rig. Let me know...

I don't have any pics of the suspension flex, but can tell you it is very limited. The SkyJ rear spring packs will flex a little, but not as much as Superlift's SoftRide kit. The SkyJ Hydro shocks eat up bumps instantly, but the ride is perfect for me.
