supercharging a 351

has anyone used a eaton m90 to supercharge their 351 I have a 95 with 5.8 i was reading i could do this with a modified intake . thanks ahead of time

Unfortunately the 10 pages are filled w/useless comments by some folks there; a Mod should have deleted the idiot posts so that Boostcrazy99 would have a cleaner write-up and spent less time answering some Qs that he was in process of answering later as he progressed through the build-up.

Here is his result;

"Factory crank ratings are:

190hp/270tq

Assuming a 10% loss in power due to age and milage, that would put me at:

171hp/243tq Crank

114hp/156tq Rear Wheel

That is a 33% driveline loss!

So with the new rear wheel #'s just add 33% to the new #'s.

154hp/230tq Supercharged rear wheel #'s

205hp/306tq Supercharged Crank shaft #'s

These #'s might look low but you have to remember that was with a 15:0 AFR. I need to get it down to 11.8:0 Once I get more fuel in it will make more power. Sorry I haven't been on here in a while, I was working the SEMA show in Las Vegas..."

I've seen it.

Superchargers are nice! I had one a couple years ago and loved it! Just the sound alone was quite nice. Though every dumb kiddo wanted to race me like he had something to prove
