when I aught the truck the previous owner ran a jumper from battery to the brake switch and then to the tail lights and said that the hazards did not work well to make a long story short ripped that all out reconnected the right way to find it was a bad **** fuse under the hood just when taught all was well checked out the other lights to find now have no high mount brake and no dome cargo or map lights just incase this was enough when I press the brake pedal the damn courtesy lights in the doors come on

if my head was not shaved before I would be bald any way

any ideas cannot even find a wire diagram for the under hood fuse/relay boxes let alone one for the one under the dash or interior lights

Pick up a Haynes(not Chiltons)manual at the parts store. They have wiring diagrams in them and are laid out pretty well.Be sure and check the grounds for each circuit you're on.

already have a Chiltons manual and work in a garage and have access to Mitchell on demand but the odd thing these circuits don't really connect anywhere that's where I am having the problem

not really concerned with the door lights but the ones under the dash can be bad when baking at night and the map and domes don't come on either not in a hurry to fix those for the same reason if they come on when bakes are applied at night could wreak havoc on the eyes
