I have a 1975 bronco ranger with automatic transmission. can I replace the broken column sleeve from the steering wheel side or do I have to remove the whole column? does anyone know where I can download an exploded view of the steering column?

thanks

You will be best off pulling that column out to work on it. You will have to disassemble most of the column to replace that sleeve. It can be done with the column in the truck but I would rather do it without the neck and back pain of working around the part. I do think however that the sleeve comes out the top of the column after you have most of the guts out. Good luck!
