I'm getting ready to install a new steering gear box in my 93. I have not done this before. Is there any special tools needed, or any tips anybody can give me?

It's a 1 banana job... :p /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Un-bolt steering shaft fr. box....it should telescope up & out of the way.

Pitman arm puller can be borrowed fr. Autozone. ( a must)

Tires straight & pitman arm should be pointing straight back. (you can mark/note its position & set the new one the same. (Some pitman arms will only go on in one position.)

R & R the box...line up the pitman arm & torque nut. re-install str. shaft.

Double check everything & check that str. wheel is centered. B)
