I have a 1990 Bronco XLT w/ a 302 EFI. I having problems with the bolts on the starter backing out and the starter falling off. The starter I replaced only had one bolt b/c one of the ears broke off. So I found another bolt to put in it with. Any suggestions to keep these bolts on? I think my Dad is going to try putting some nuts on them. Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions would be great.

by adding the nuts that should hold the starter on there. you might want to try putting lock tight on the bolts just to hold them a little bit better, that way you should not have to worry about the nuts coming loose.

I agree with greger the lock tight should help. This is a fairly common prob. with ford trucks. :-& :excl:
