u can get polk audio at best buy or is it circuit city there pretty good at a fair price and i believe the sizes ate 51/4 in front and 5/7 in the back if you want a good sound and you can run a few wires you could put the componet woofer /tweeter in front but ur gonna have to mount the crossover and the tweeter in the door its a piece of cake and in the back try a 2 way 5/7 that speaker setup should give you a real nice full sound without breaking the budgit and putting in a monster system this sut is running about 400

polk are about the best bang for your buck and they hold up well i have had some "great" speakers go to *** after a year because of bouncing along trails

Gotta agree with wtfdissux, Crutchfield is a great place to go to find out what components fit your vehicle. Their pricing is a bit high, but sometimes you get a good deal. The nice thing about Crutchfield.com is they send you all wiring harness adapters and instructions and all that good stuff...generally for free. Plus, they've been around forever and stand behind their products. Got a problem, they've got a 24 hour call center to help.

go for some infinity loud speakers they are the cleanest sounding speakers evr ...polks are ok but they cant touch the infinity's..I,ve ran with both and i'm tellin you the infinitys are way better.

there probobly 6 1/2 int the front and 5x7 or 6x8 in the back

ok infinity are good so are bose and boston accustic but in my opinion the best bang for your buck without breaking the bank are polk they give good sound clear response and after 2 years of bounceing in the mud they still do compared to others ive used thats already twice the lifespan

We could all argue about the quality of Polk, Infinity, Boston, until the end of time. My suggestion is, find a local car audio dealer after you have found the proper sizes of speakers. They're going to try to sell you some speakers...and you might even get a good deal there. But here is the key: Have them play the Polks, the Infinitys and anything else you want. Listen with your eyes closed and ask the sales guy not to tell you which brands are playing. You'll hear the difference, and that is the best way to make your decision. No speaker is designed to last forever. A lot of the newer speakers are built to "marine application" specs anyway, so you're going to get a good speaker virtually any way you go.

As for the rear speakers, I've seen guys do some modification and put tens in there. You can put virtually any speaker you want in the rear...plenty of room. The standard size is something like a 6x8...but they ****.

the polks are marine rated so thats like being waterproof and u cant beat that

Yep...and Polks are my personal favorites anyway. I think they make some of the finest speakers you can buy.
