I changed my 3 rear universal joints in my 84 Bronco. Whew..what a horrible job that was.
When I finally reattached my rear drive shaft, I noticed a piece of hose lying on the ground. I figured it was just a piece of old gas line that I had had changed out awhile ago.
I took it for a test drive, and my baby ran like the wind. Two days later, I put my trailer hitch back on, and rented a garden tiller. After I returned it, I noticed that my motor would bog right down when I tromped on my gas (tryin to race a chev).
What gives? Could that "old gas line" piece be part of a transmission vacuum?
What are yer thoughts?
