I currently in the process of rebuilding my whole suspension but when I am done this weekend I want to get started on a motor but I dont know where to start. I do suspensions and just minor motor work like starters and stuff along those lines so I really just dont know motors. I want to get atleast 500 hp but I need to build it reasonably cheap, not $5000 worth of parts and labor. I am military so you know my price range is not to high. Also this will be a trailer queen so offroading will not be an object in this project. Would it be better to find a motor thats is already built? Thanks for any help you can give me.

There is a great book out there that I'm sure you can get off of Amazon.com called How to Build Max Performance Ford V-8S on a Budget

by George Reid. It is an excellent book and a good place to start.

Good luck,

:)>-
