Well I have a 1994 Bronco with a 5.0L 302 v8 w/ 5 speed manual trans...
After pulling a jeep for less than
a mile in the mountains (state roads, normal shale style nothing off road like) the shifter basically lost it's "pattern" first and second are right there and it's difficult to find 3 / 4 / 5 .... now I'm not used to this old skool motor/trans- I had a 99 ford contour, and had the same problem... but that was a bushing and linkage cable... and with my bronco- the shifter going right into the trans... the trans mount is good and the snub bolt is tight is there a bushing or something inside the shifter where the 3 hex screws are on the top of the trans that can be replaced or is this something worse? I've own my bronco for 13 months with NO problems- I pull a jeep less than a mile, now this...
Somehow has to know *** is going on....
thanks!!!!!!!!!!
