Side emblems

I want to replace the "BRONCO XLT" embelms that are located on the front fenders with chrome letters that say, "BRONCO".

Give it a nice updated look. However.. I know on some vehciles they are snapped into place through holes. Others with just two sided tape..anyone have an idea of how ours are installed? I'm sure I could work with the holes by having the new chrome letters cover em up hopefully but just hope they are held into place by tape.

Yo Dude,

my 96 EB Bronco emblems were held on with the tape, but had 2 small locating holes for positioning.

I got them off by prying the edge with a good plastic scraper and squirting GooGone behind them.
