shorty headers or long tube headers

80-96 it shouldnt, it WOULD matter if you had a manual because pretty much all long tubes ive seen wont fit then. I would also recommend getting the soft aluminum collector gaskets.

in most of the part mags i have ex. summit, jegs, edelbrock most of them only carry shortys for the newer fords and long tube for the older ones. is there a hudge differ between them??

The year does matter. I can't find headers for my 96' at all, but thats because it has all of the sensors in the exhaust. Was 96' the only year they added the sensors or what?

I have a 92 and the only sensor I have is a o2 sensor and the tubes didnt have a nut for it so they welded one in...thats the only sensor I can see being on there. Go to advance auto parts they have a bunch of choices.
