Since no one was interested in buying my Bronc- I need some parts.... I need some shocks- not caring so much for the ride- I want to know what you guys(and gals) think the best mud and trail shock is???? Also just noticed that stock bumbers don't work so well- so any advice on after market and who's got them??? Lastly those stupid front auto locking hubs. This winter I was lucky to have the vacuum lock in one of the front tires- Is Warn the best and how hard is it to swap- auto for manual? anything special i have to do? Any and all advice greatly appreciated- thanks stubby oh ya this is for a 94' w/ 302 auto.. next time i ask about lockers

Gabriel makes pretty good shocks for just about every terrain. They're not that expensive either. Warn makes a bumper that you can mount a winch to, but I forget what it's called. Not many people that I've looked at carry anything for later Broncos. I don't know what's involved in changing from Auto hubs to Manual, but Warn is probably the best you can get. Milemarker makes good ones, too.

I'm not trying to argue, but I looked up the one that I was quoted a price for and it's a Classic bumper, but mine is also a 90 and I believe that the bodies were different in the 90 and 93. Really if you wanted to you could make your own bumper if you wanted to, but it would probably be more trouble than it's worth.

Gabriel will not be as good as your Rancho or Skyjacker, etc., but that's because the Rancho's and other similar shocks are made for off roading and extreme use. If your truck is a daily driver than I would go with the Monroes(sorry that's what I meant earlier, and I got it confused with Gabriel) they make a heavier duty shock that's good if you do some off roading every now and then, but if your gonna be going off roading a lot I would go with Rancho or something similar. A stock Ford Spring should be fine unless you are planning on lifting it. If it is already lifted you'll have to figure out what brand it is and go to that manufacturer and get a spring from them.

I don't know if you could fit a 3/4 or 1 ton shock, but I'm sure you could find a heavier duty shock that would fit it.
