I ordered a new shift motor from JBG because mine's shot, and when I went to replace it, I noticed that the one on my transfer case has the plug plus 3 wires that offshoot to another part of the transfer case. I don't want to cut them for fear it'll cause another problem, but the new one has only wires to a plug.

Anyone else have this problem and have a solution, short of a 4x4 mechanic?

Thanks

Meisk5, thank you SO much! That's exactly what I needed. Popped out the wires from the old motor and popped them into the new motor (all the wires were the same color from old to new, which REALLY helped keep the guesswork out from frying the motor) locked my manual hubs, and hit a close dirt road. Kicked it into 4x4, and she rocked it.

Again, thanks. >
