I went wheeling yesterday and couldn't get the T-case into 4-lo. I took off the shifter boot and went under to have a look noticed the pin can't get down around the bracket to get to 4-lo, I took the little rubber boot off the bottom of the shift assembly and was greeted by rust powder in the face. anyways that part is shot and won't move down around the bracket so I was wondering if it would be a good quick fix idea to grind out the bracket so the shifter can make it to -lo without going down and around. I don't foresee any problems with this but I just wanna get a second opinion before I get r done.

I guess if you did that and got carried away trying to get it into 4 HI going down the road and pulled up too hard it could try to go into 4LO and would be a bit noisy maybe alot of banging and clunking . LOL :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
