Hey,

This is my first technical post and I'm kinda just looking for the easy way out. I have several wiring problems with my "disco" Bronco and I'm trying to straighten them out one at a time.

It's an 81' Bronco with a 351m and says something about "trailer special" on the sides.

First on my list is the passenger side (right) taillight and the license plate lights. I have the left side taillight though. I'm figuring the hot wire that runs from the left taillight to the license plate lights is broke.

Do you guys know where this wire runs though.

The wires run along the rear cross member. Do yourself a favor and buy an EVTM for your year truck. It is one of th3e best investments you can make. Instead of a wiring nightmare like the Chilton or Haynes have it treats each circuit individually plus tells you where all the connectors are located, color code of the wires. Searching ebay results in this hit http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1981-Ford-B...lsQ5fLiterature

By the way, the tailor package is a heavy duty suspension, like dual shocks up front and stuff for towing like electrical hook ups.

Good luck,

:)>-
