ok so ive been searching for a while about sea foam while ive been staring at the bottle and was wondering...Do i just pour it in to my gas tank, let it sit and start it up agian??? how much gas do u generally have in it before use? can I do it to the gas tank and throttle body at the same time? I think im just nervous because ive heard things about sea foam and hydrolocking.

I've never tryed it but from what I remember reading you unhook the vaccum line to the brake booster and stuck the line in the bottle, let the engine **** the seafoam in. You might want to wait for a more reliable source than what I can provide but that was my understanding anyway

Instructions for using it are on the can. I believe that if you put it in the tank it should be with a full tank. Sucking it in with the vacuum hose is also a method for getting it in the top end. I believe that method is also on the can. I have used it a couple of times and it definitely makes a difference.

Good luck,

:)>-

when you do it into the booster line let it run until it sucks it all or stalls out then shut it off ( if it didn't stall out) let it sit as long as you can I try let it sit for 8 or more hours ) then fire it up and hit the road to burn the stuff off it works wonders but smokes out the whole parking lot have heard of some getting the fire department called on them thinking the truck was on fire due to the smoke

I try not doing this until during the winter so my nieghbors all have the windows closed and they arent outside grilling and so on but have heard of people thinking that you are foging for misquitos when driving at dusk in rural areas :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

i recently read an article on fullsizebronco.com on sea foaming your engine, and some guy that works for sea foam said that you run the risk of hydrolocking your engine by sticking the vacuum tune directly in the can, instead he reccomended using a funnel and slowly pouring it in. a full article with pictures can be found here:
