I have a line on a set of 4" coils and blocks for the bronco or a complete 1 ton chassis with Dana 60s. Which should I do? How hard is an SAS?

I vote for the 1-ton SAS. IF you use leaf springs like I did, it's simple to put in. Even if you cannot fab and weld the front crossmember, you can have that built and installed on the Bronco along with the front leaf rear hangers. Using radius arms and coils up front will take more work than the leaves.

While D60 parts like gears and axles cost more than the D44 and Ford 8.8", they will be alot stronger an more likely to handle bigger tires without breaking everytime you go wheelin'.

Oh yeah definitely go for the rolling 1 ton chassis, that is a great start. Does it include motor and tranny or just frame and axles?
