I’m a decent mechanic but this is my first experience with the 80s efi.
I’m getting crap power out of my 89 bronco. It’s a 351w/C6 truck. I couldn’t get the koer test to run with a jump wire so I picked up a $30 scan tool with a lcd screen.
Koeo test is giving a 67 and a 96 code. I know the A/C system is dead so no surprise there. The fuel pump relay would make sense. I looked at the set of connections on the back of the air cleaner. There is nothing plugged into the fuel pump plug. That doesn’t seem good.
the truck runs fine but doesn’t have enough power to climb basic hills. Does this look like a wire around? I’ve only owned it for a month or so, so none of the nonsense wiring is mine.
I can’t get the KOER test to run at all.
TIA
