Anyone know how much it will cost to rino line the entire floor of my bronco? and will it insulate from the heat of the road?

I got a quote to have that done a while back. What the guy told me was that a totally stripped down bronco would start at $700. So if you have carpet, or some sort of liner in there already, I would suggest taking it out first. He said that removing what was already in there would push the price up considerably. As far as heat from the road, I'd imagine it would be fine. Its the same as having it in a truck bed, and those stay pretty insulated.

I decided to go with a new lift and tires instead of the liner...but the lining will look awesome.

Good luck.

That is more than the vinyl/rubber flooring... but think it would be worth spending the extra.

My buddy bought this can of do it yourself bedliner for his jeep cherokee and it actually looks pretty god damned good and is really thick. He spent like $50 so I am gonna find out what stuff he used and do it myself in my bronco. I dont like the carpet and this way all my welding equipment doesn't shred the carpet. Although I need to figure out something to hold my equipment in place.

I have seen this stuff called Durabak, looks like the Rhino Liner but you can buy it by the can and put it on yourself way cheaper than Rhino - I think this could be what Outlaw was talking about.

Not sure how good any of the lining stuff would be in blocking heat; most underbody heat comes from the pipes. If the floorboard gets too hot you could install a heat shield on the underbody above the pipes.

rhino lining is good, as ar most of other roll on or spray on bedliners, but they do not insulate against the heat. the only reason a truck bed stay relatively cool is because there is constantly air circulating around it, pulling the heat away. a friend of mine in palatka has his truck rhino'd inside, and it gets hotter than ****

I live in Cleveland, TN and the Line-X place here quoted me $450 (from the firewall all the way back) with everything out except the driver's seat. So if you're in the Southeast area give a Line-X place a call. The next cheapest around me was Murphy, NC

Talked to my buddy told me you can buy the entire rhinoliner do it yourself kit with a big can of the liner and the roller and s**t for around $100 at any NAPA with enough liner to actually lay down two coats of this stuff.

Do a search on roll on bed loiner klits and you will come up with three.

herculiner

durabak

linex extreme or something like that.

herculiner is comman and pretty easy not to **** it up. just follow the instructions it comes in red, white, black and grey

durabak has 21 various colors and is pretty much the same as herculiner.

the linex etreme stuff is more expensive, but fron what i hear is better if you haul alot of stuff, but if you are doing it for looks then herculiner would be the best bet, that is the route i am going
