I'm trying to repair the hardtop on my '77 Bronco. Specifically, I need to replace the flat, horizontal section that meets the windshield. The previous owner fashioned something together too silly to describe.
Does anyone know if it is possible to purchase this part? I have searched the various popular Bronco Web sites and haven't come up with anything. Or, am I looking at 1) purchasing an entire used top and tearing it apart (or simply using the top if it's in better shape than mine!) OR 2) having something fabricated by a local shop.
I considered purchasing a fiberglass top by I have heard they crack easily.
By the way, I think I have a part number (taken from a diagram on Bronco.com): 513876.
