Just finished up a test drive and wanted to let everyone know that I finally killed all of the rattles in Bella..... Last one was a bit of a challenge to find... The actuator arms on the tailgate mechanism were hitting the metal of the tailgate... Got some foam pipe insulation and pulled the release handle and bucket out, slid the pipe insulation down the actuator arms and VIOLA rattle gone!!! The two other ones were in the doors.... Driver door, the window track was loose and in the passenger door there was some crap that got into the door that was rattling around.

My heater fan was squeaking and replaced the motor, it was stamped 1972... Guess the bearings weren't planned for a 50 year life span...

Put a Rampage top on it and got the heater and defroster rebuilt and now it is a winter rig...

Peace all!!!

That is a huge accomplishment. So basically what you are saying is that you are stubborn and pig headed and didn't give up. LOL.

After I put the soft top on it, I realized the amount of rattles that I had... My wife is not a good listener, so I was really on my own... Took a while, but it is SOOO much nicer to drive!! Lot's of test drives with a tool box :)
