Radio Installation

My 1990 Ford Bronco II needs the radio replaced - it just stopped working. I purchased a new Jensen, but the wires don't match any of the existing wires. There are so many more wires on the new system than the existing radio. Please help - I have taken off the panel and now I can't figure out what to do next. Thanks!!

go to wal-mart and back by the car stereos you can get a wiring harness for the radio, just connect the jensen to the wires on the harness, and connect the other side directly into the stock radio plugs, yo can also get these at most any store that sells car stereos, sometimes even autozone will have them

Your main wires should be Red pwr wire to switched pwr source. Another red or maybe small yellow wire to unswitched pwr source

Black wire for ground

yellow wire usually for pwr antennae (probably wont use this)

blue wire for some accesory (won't need this)

Speaker wires

Usually the wires have little silver tapes on them that say what they are.

or they have a diagram on the box.

Its really simple. If your truck has a harness with a plug you may have to get an adapter install kit

Antenna Right Front

Front Speakers 4" Doors

Left Front (+) Orange/Green

Left Front (-) Black/White

Right Front (+) White/Green

Right Front (-) Black/White

Rear Speakers 5" x 7" Side Panels

Left Rear (+) Pink/Green

Left Rear (-) Pink/Blue

Right Rear (+) Pink/Blue

Right Rear (-) Green/Orange
