If your talking about the rear threaded brake line fitting going into the MC, then yes. I have stock Power brakes and couldn't find a part store with the correct MC to fit my lines. Autozone did find an adapter to make it work.Does the diameter of lines used from the master cylinder and proportioning valve on a power brake system matter? I'm having trouble getting my new system to work properly
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The preassemb. lines that I picked up are large diameter. I think I need to use some fittings to reduce the diameter down to something around the size that runs to the calipers and drums. All the pics that I see online and in books are using small lines, I just don't know what size.Hmmm...,
Is there really a lot of choice..? The fittings & tapered (funnel) ends, pretty much detirmine the line size as well.
Are you trying to build your own..? No need, those pre-assemb. lines are cheap & avail. at most all auto parts.

Diameter should not matter with hydraulic fluid. I just got finished running a hydro boost system with 3/16th lines. That is the size that will have the correct fitting to the proportioning valve.Does the diameter of lines used from the master cylinder and proportioning valve on a power brake system matter?
