I am new to this site and bought me first Bronco 2 weeks ago. The Bronco needs some work to get it the way I want it and I was hoping I could gets some ideas and info from ya'll. The Bronco had a bad whine in the reaaend and me and some friends changed the rearend out last Saturday and got rid of the whine. Now I can hear and feel everything else I need to work on. When I give the Bronco gas it has a little vibration. could my pinoin angle be off. When I put the new/used rearend in it had the wedge that went between the axle and leaf springs we put it back in just like it was but I was wondering if someone may have raised the Bronco, put the webge in it to fix the pinion angle then lowered the Bronco back to stock but did not take the wedge out. To make a short question long (sorry), should there be a wedge there? If so what else could cause the vibration? I have 31x10.50 mud tires on the Bronco.

yes you should have the wedge there and the vibratin is most likely coming from the driveshaft. It could either be out of balance due to abuse or you could have really back u-joints. My dad is going through the same thing with his f-250

The usual suspect is the double cardon joint at the Tcase on the rear shaft
