i drive a 94 xlt. 5.0. i leave for basic in a month when i return i recieve a 10,000 dollar chunk of my enlistment bonus. when i get5 back i'm wanting to put the bigest badest motor in my truck. which is the largest motor a can fit in it?

Hey you said biggest, baddest. GT40 Crate engine from Ford Motorsport would wake up your beast for a very reasonable price.

Unless you're going to compete with the truck very few people have the $$$ to throw away on the biggest baddest engines. If you've got that kind of disposable income then here's one of many you can look at:

Personally, I'd go with a 460 crate engine & be done with it. Crate 460's run anywhere from $2k for shortblocks to the $5k jobs from Ford Motorsports with the "average" crate 460 costing around $3k. To install this you'll need anywhere from $1400 to $2700 (depending on your transmission) for the installation kit from L&L:

I'd strongly recommend the kit from L&L, it's complete, everything fits well & works after the swap and the optional fenderwell headers definitely fall into the badass category.
