I posted a topic a week ago called "won't pass inspection" . First i wanna thank U guys for u'r help and suggestions.
So like i said before diognostic said it needed 02 sensor replaced. Did that, but after a couple of days the chk engine light came on again. I took it back to Pep Boys so they could run it again. (the first one cost me $90, but they didn't charge me anything besides the inspection sticker cost after the initial charge.) The second test showed something wrong with my smog pump. they checked it out and turned out to just be a busted hose. They replaced that at no charge either. So that was pretty cool of them. Thanks Luis at pep boys. Ya so it turned out it had nothing to do with me removing one of the cat's. I just thought i would post this just incase any body is having the same proplems. My bronco is a 96 XL with a 5.0 by the way.
