oxygen sensor location

Just wanted to confirm the correct location of an O2 Sensor on my 96 Bronco 5.8L.....I am replacing the Bank 2 Sensor 1 sensor. I believe this is the sensor on the drivers side first one from the block...am I correct?

You are correct.

Location Pic in a 96; Bank 2, driver's side;

Bank 2 is the driver's side.

Bank 1 will always be the bank containing the #1 cylinder (Passenger Side in our Broncos).

Sensor 1 is da upstream sensor, between the engine & the catalytic converter.

miesk5 Note, the 2nd is on passenger side; the 3rd is between the converters and Calif Models have a 4th behind rear converter
