When i am driving at a constant of about 35-40mph, it feels like the car is bulging or something. I think it might be the transmission shifting constantly back and forth or something, or mabey even a misfire. help anyone?

Sounds like the tranny may be "hunting", not an uncommon complaint with overdrive transmissions. Does it have an OD lockout switch ? If so try turning it off & seeing if that makes a difference. Without more info about the vehicle it's hard to say anything other than that & like Steve I'm not really sure what a bulging car feels like, I know how nudges feel but that usually occurs when the wife is in the truck & I'm distracted by one of those bikini car-washes or something & it's more like a whack.

Acctually, i replaced the spark plugs, wires, and distributor cap recently, and no change. Its really weird, its like if im just cruising with my foot barely on the petal going about 35, it feels like the truck rocks back and forth, not quite constantly tho, its kinda hard to explain. And its a pretty strong nudge, too. And i had the transmission rebuilt recently cuz it blew up when my CV bolts popped out. I dont know, every time i think my truck is completely fixed, something even more bizzare breaks.

The Bronco is bad about rocking side-to-side and what i call "porpoising" where the nose rises and falls, especially on poor roads. IF this is what's happening to you, I would look at the shocks and body mount bushings. All of mine on the 84 were shot, and I replaced them with poly body bushings. That really reduced the side-to-side motion, but istill had alot of nose dive when stopping. All six shocks were bad, an d it helped some when I installed some ProComp ES9000's. They began to fade after an hour of driving, but I had better luck with the Skyjacker Nitro's. I for one don't like being thrown around in the cab when driving gravel roads or the bad highways.
