I need someone with some exsperiance here. im rebuilding this tcase because i didnt have 4low. everythign else works. I order the master rebuild kit from JBG, bearings/gastets. I ripped it apart noticed a really loose chain. i was able to sqeeze the chain atlease a half inch. what can you say after 170k miles. Im wondering if they made 2 diff versions of 208's. On my other posts i got replies saying it was the shift forks being the problem. Ok. the kit i got from JBG came with them. the inserts. Theres a groove annulus gear thingy. one of the forks actually slip into the slot. but the plastic inserts do not fit into that groove. they fit on the fork itself but then the fork wont go into the groove. Also are the inserts suppose to lock on the fork, cause they just slide on and off. kinda flimsy. Magnet in the tcase was full of shavings. all the gears looked fine. prob came from bearing im goign to replace. fluid was red liek it was suppose to be. My main thing is the damn shift forks. i loaded my supermotors page with alot of pics. Didnt want to flood this thread. So maybe i can give someone a better idea. ****
